October Meeting: Dave Cresey’s Close-up Lecture

Autumn is here and so is Dave Cresey, who will present his close-up lecture at our next meeting.  Don’t miss this rare opportunity!
Those wishing to join us for dinner are encouraged to do so, starting at 6:00 PM.  The meeting starts at 7:30 PM on October 10th.

Treas’ report: balance reported.
President’s rpt.: MI Dan Sclare set a goal for the year of well-attended meetings and assembly growth.
Old Bus.: We’ve talked with Nat’l Pres. Rich Dooley about the Nov. There was a special presentation to Cal Vinick of a 50-year pin.
The October lecture will feature a lecture by Dave Cresey.
New Bus.: We received from RVP Marlene Clark a spreadsheet of names of Society members in our area.
Dan asked for volunteers to help write postcards inviting those people to the assembly.
Dan asked if anyone is interested in assembling a group to visit Dave Garrity as Six Flags during "Fright Fest."
Magic Week comes up shortly. [Even shorter, now.  Get a proclamation from your local governing body ASAP.]
Dana reported an offer of a free CD to new joiners.
