Check your drawers and cabinets for innocent objects and make them magical.  The meeting is October 8 and starts at 7:30 PM.  Join the officers for dinner, if you can, at 6:00 PM.

Tres. rpt.: balance was reported.
O. B.: The fall show is November 17.  Pres. Angelo Chirico asked for a Sept. meeting to design the show, plus an Oct. meeting to finalize format and performers.
SAMCON is November 10.
ICBM Gathering is Nov. 8-10 ($185 all weekend).
VP Dan Sclare is actively looking for a date for the “Veterans” performance.
N. B.: Bill Smyth would like to hold another Historical Night, possibly for our April ’08 meeting.
Mystery Lounge (Cambridge, MA) is starting its 12th season.
Dan asks that if you have a favorite website, let secretary Dana Ring know so he can put it in the newsletter.  SYM member Connor Harper suggests “penguinmagic.com”.
Angelo asks to re-introduce the “roll call” for the benefit of newcomers who may not know everyone in the club.
G&W: Larry White is ailing with esophageal cancer.  The club will send a card.

National Council Meets

The National Council will meet November 2-4 at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel, One Audubon Road, Wakefield, MA 01880.  RVP Marlene Clark would like any who are able to attend the Saturday evening get-together and perform for the Council. Dave Garrity at FrightFest

Dave is back at Six Flags in Agawam, MA, doing "Haunting Illusions" practically every day the ’Fest is open from now to season’s end.


Magic Week Proclaimed

National President Maria Ibâñez has proclaimed October 25-31 as National Magic Week.  To date the governors of eight states have officially proclaimed the week in their states with others to follow.  Can you get it proclaimed in your town?  Additional information is available at www.magicsam.com/magicweek.asp.
